Throughout the month of November our store mascot, J. B. (Jay Bird Watcher) and all the members of the WBU team want to extend a warm welcome and express our appreciation to our loyal customers.
Several small tokens of our appreciation will be available including beautiful WBU 2010 calendars, the fall edition of the BirdTrackers newsletter, and new product guides. Frequent Seed Shoppers and E-mail subscribers are encouraged to stop in and let us express our thanks. We are thankful for each of you and your interest in helping make Jekyll Island and all the Golden Isles a wonderful place for our feathered friends.
We all have so much to be thankful for this coming Thanksgiving holiday. Many of you will celebrate with family and friends at the Jekyll Island Club Hotel's fabulous brunch. Do stop by and see us afterwards!
Effective August 1, the Jekyll Island Authority (JIA) increased the entrance to Jekyll Island State Park to $5.00 to make our fee consistent with all other state parks around Georgia.
WBU offers toll-free shopping to our loyal Bird Tracker customers. These are customers who participate in our Frequent Seed Shopper Program and/or our E-Mail Newsletter Program. We will continue to offer toll-free shopping, and we have modified our policy to reflect this increase.
We have added a graduated scale so that customers spending $30 or more will receive a $3 refund, $40 a $4 refund, and $50 the full entrance fee of $5 will be refunded. We know that local customers plan their trips to replenish supplies, and we hope this system will help as we are all watching our budgets carefully and shopping carefully for products of high quality.
